How long do I have to finish the race?
4 hour race ends at 1:00pm, the 8 hour race ends at 5pm, and the 12 race ends at 7:00pm
Can I leave the course?
Yes. You can step off the course at any time but you must reenter the course at the exact point where you left the course.
Can I sleep?
Yes. You can bring a small tent to put up at a designated spot along the course, just remember that when you step off the course you must reenter the course at the same spot. We will have a tent for drop bags if you don’t build your own camp.
Is the course lit?
No, 12 hour runners will need a headlamp at the start.
Are there road crossings?
No. Reflectors and body lights are welcomed but the entire course is within the camp and does not cross any roads so there are no concerns about vehicle traffic at night.
Do you allow pacers?
No. If you have friends and family who will want to hop in for a few loops they must register for the 4 hour. Make it a fun day(s) with your favorite run group! Support and run with each other.
How do you determine overall award winners?
The furthest distance covered for both male and female in each race (4/8/12). In the event of a tie the person who finished the last lap first would be the overall winner.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
The course is non-technical trail and gravel roads.

Is the course stroller friendly?
No, but how FUN would that be!
Is the course pet friendly?
As fond as we are of the K-9 breed, we encourage you to leave your pets at home for the comfort and safety of both your pet and other runners. No dogs allowed in beer garden or tent area.
I was injured after registering for the race. Can I get a refund or defer until next year?
No – there will be NO refunds or deferments. We incur fixed costs for each runner based on registration numbers. As a result, we are not able to allow any refunds.
Can I transfer my registration to a friend?
Before the event is sold out you may transfer your registration to a friend for a transfer fee. Contact info@rfevents.com to make that change. No transfers once the race is sold out.
Is there an age requirement for the races?
There is no documented age requirement. However, all minors must submit a registration signed by their parent AND a parent/guardian MUST be present on race day.
What is included with my entry fee?
Finisher medal, award eligibility, aid station food, final chip timed race results, live music, food trucks, and plenty of HOOTIN' AND HOLLERIN'.
Can I wear headphones on the course?
We discourage the use of headphones on trails.
Will the event go on rain or shine?
The event will go on rain or shine with only the possibility of delay in the event of lightning.
Are there bathrooms available on the course?
There are porta johns at the start/finish.
Can I register on race day?
There likely will be not be late registration for this event. Sign up before it sells out!

Can someone pick my packet up for me?
We strongly encourage all runners to pick up their own race packet. It is important for runners to verify their data and make any necessary changes. However, if it is not possible for you to pick up your own packet, you may have someone pick it up for you. That person will be responsible for verifying personal race information (name, age, birthdate, etc.).
